03:23 pm - been quite a while
yes yes....i know....its been a long time since i've updated this thing-a-ma-jig. the summer was pretty good; had my fair share of work with a good amount of relaxation and recreation.
last monday i moved into my house in narragansett. all i can honestly say is that it's awesome. no other word can come to mind but that one. my landlords are pretty cool too which is a plus because i dont think theyll care if we throw parties here.
on wednesday class started...not bad so far, but it soon will be i think.
this weekend was pretty fun. on friday, we all chilled here and drank and smoked quite a bit. on saturday night chris and i went to a couple of house parties. beirut was played, and.....duh.......we won...
anyhow, im bored right now and this has filled up about 5 mins so now i gotta find something else to do

12:44 pm - Fenway!!
last night, as u probly know from craigs lj, i went to fenway. it was the first time i'd ever been and man, it was awesome! i couldnt ask for better seats. it was fun to heckle the players and watch them give us dirty looks; i even heckled the bat boy, thats right, the bat boy. when the game ended i didnt want to leave but hopefully i'll be there again in the near future.

haven't updated in a while, as usual. i got rid of the beard and cut my hair into a mohawk for a few days. now thats gone too. school is getting redundant and i needs to bo over now.

04:44 pm - been a while..
today is such a nice day out. for the 1st time in who knows how long, i walked to and from class in short sleeves...how sweet it is. after lunch, forsberg and i went outside to play some catch. i really needed to get that outta my system. after that, i just kinda chilled in my room and napped for a little bit. its also great to do homework on the balcony. the night will probably consist of me studying for my quiz tomorrow and hitting the gym.

wonderful, wonderful st. patty's day. wens night, craig, aaron and I went to see dropkick murphys. it kicked ass! after that we went back to beth day's apt to crash. the next morning, st pattys day, i woke up around 10 and i cracked open my first beer. oh, it was a good time. i dont think ive been drunk for that long, ever. not to mention some of the rooftop activities that occured as well. needless to say, i had a great time yesterday and i would like to thank beth day for an awesome st patty's day!
tonight i finally got to meet craig's girlfriend casey. she's a very pleasant girl. i think i gave her a bad 1st impression before i even saw her cause craig would give me his phone whenever i was under the influence of something, and thats the only time i'd talk to her. anyhow, she's nice.

tonight was pretty good. it started with me a craig playing catch in the kickemuit ms parking lot. we would throw the ball near the piles of snow and we'd have to dive to catch them. fun fun. then we meet up with dave, lambert and rich reynolds and we all went to hooters. we had such a hot waitress! damn!!! in fact, all the girls that were working were pretty hot. we had wings, since it was all you can eat night, and i had some with the 911 sauce. let me tell you, after eating a few of those my mouth was on fire. but it was good. after that we all got quality cigars in some place in fall river and smoked them on the ride back. so i was a pretty manly night....hot chicks.....good food....and cigars.
anyhow, ive recently started to play ocarina of time for n64 again. man, i love that game. i think everyone should play it.....NOW!!

not a whole lot going on. been going to the gym with dave. its snowin here right now, but i dont want classes to be canceled. i have a midterm that i would rather take tomarrow, but if class is canceled, it wouldnt be til friday. we shall see!

not a bad day. classes were alright, i have no complaints. did some homework and then i played a round of dorm soccer. god, i love dorm soccer. fucking best game ever!!

well, the weekend was alright. kinda boring but i did get a lot of work done, so i guess it wasnt a complete waste. friday i was so bored that i just drove around for a little bit and then i went to newsbreak and read some magazines. after that i went i got some coffee and went back home and did some work. yesterday was pretty much more of the same. oh, and the phone at my house seemed like it was ringing every 5 minutes. i hate that.....especially when no one picks it up after a few rings.....so annoying.

11:14 pm - today sucks
wow, today really sucked major balls. went to both my classes which were ok, i suppose. after that it was pretty busy. from 2 to basically now i've been doing work, most of which was for my mechanics of materials class. god, i fucking dispise that class and the professor. i think he gives us all the work cause he loves to jerk off to the thought of it. or maybe it's because he's a major dick. who knows....it could be anything. so after i was done with that, i studied for my differential equations quiz and made myself a help sheet. the material isnt too bad, so i think i'll be fine. oh, i also worked on the dynamics, but i didnt finish it yet cause i dont really get it. oh well
on a much happier note, chris, stos and i found a house for next year! it was being advertised in the school paper so we called the landlord and checked it out. by the end of last night we had all the paperwork done. it was basically 1st come 1st serve so luckily we were 1st. i'm so glad im not living in the dorms. i'll be nice to have the peace of mind of not getting bothered by ra's.

10:21 pm - super bowl and beyond
last night was pretty fun. of course, there was the super bowl, and yes, the pats won. what else would you expect?? i went to ayres' girlfriend's house and watched the game. had some grub and some beer. in the fourth quarter stos showed up and by then we had decided to just stay there for the night. i slept on a futon and there was this little kitten that kept walking on me an waking me up. oh well. got back to school around 8:45 this morning so i could make my 10 am class.
not reall much else to say. right now im watching the bean pot, so thats filling the hockey void in my life, at least for now.

01:00 am - poker night
had a good time playing poker tonight. i had many a laugh and i managed to score 25 bucks! fuck yeah!
tomarrow night is the super bowl. the pats should take care of those fucking phily cheese steaks and bring home another trophy. i'm going to matt ayres' girlfriends house and i plan on getting quite shit-faced, win or lose. should be a fun night!

sitting here at home, wondering why i even come home at all. no one's really around so i'm pretty much alone. tonight, luckily, my sister was going bowling with her boyfriend and asked me to come along. i rolled the regular eric costa bowling game. then we got some coffee that i'm still nursing to this moment.
i didn't really like this week too much. other than the trip to brown with dave last night, i didnt really do anything. i did homework and other things that need to be done, so i guess it wasnt all a waste of time.
tomarrow im playing poker with my uncle and some other guys. should be a good time cause it usually is, win or lose.
i've developed this awesome new thing. its call insomnia. i'll be pretty tired when i go to bed, but for some reason or another, i just lay there, tossing and turning for at least an hour. the problem is, i save all my thinking for until i go to bed, which is probably why. oh well

not a bad weekend. did plenty of homework and such. played some pool and had some sushi (california rolls are great!) i feel like im gonna have a hell of a semester work load wise. one of my professors is an asshole; i dont like him...not one bit. he's so fucking pompus and arrogant. he makes us re-copy our class notes and hand them in as homework. what a fucking douche bag! he also made his own "engineering paper" and copy righted it so none of us would sell it! damn.....thats wack!!

im sitting here in the ECC because my professor never showed up to class. we have the 10 minute rule where if they dont show up after 10 mins, we all leave. pretty sweet. i know some people who have the same class at 8, and they said that he didnt show up then either. oh well...that class is really boring. the old man repeats himself over and over and kinda hard to understand at times.
so now im just waiting for stos and brian to get out of class so we grab some lunch. normally i would just back to my room in situations like this, but i dont really feel like walking back up the hill to meet up with them afterwards. walking in the snow is a bitch.

first week of classes wasnt all that bad. went to all of them and found that 4 out of my 6 professors speak with some sort of foreign accent. fuckin-a man. it's kinda hard to understand them at times, but i guess i'll just have to deal with it. this weekend was really boring. i went home for some odd reason. anyhow, im sure you all know there was this crazy blizzard here. apparently something like 2-4 feet fell. nuts. i was outside yesterday cleaning snow. it was quite cold and snow was blowing in my face. i looked into a mirror on one of the trucks and saw that my beard had icicles! i had a good laugh over that.
coming back to campus was a little dangerous. salt from the road kept getting on my windshield and as luck would have it, i ran out of washer fluid on the highway. after a while i could hardly see out of the windshield and i had to pull over and rub snow all over it. on campus, people were trying to dig out of the snow and parking was practically impossible. anyhow, i brought a shovel with me just in case and i used to help someone out of their spot.......so then i could park in it. go me!

so im back at school, and i must say, it's good to be back. it was good to be home for a little while and see people that i havent seen in some time, but after a while, when pretty much everyone left, i was getting antsy.
tomarrow is the first day of classes. its looking like a long day for yours truely; 8am is my 1st class and im done at 3:30 with a break for lunch. hopefully it will all go smooth.

last night i fell sleep with the tv on. i had this dream that i was being chased by cops and there were sirens going off. then i woke up to cop sirens that were coming from the tele. weird how your mind can do stuff like that......

a funny thing happened yesterday. i woke up around 8:30 and then went outside to clear out snow from the damn storm that fell upon our sacred land. as i was shoveling, i noticed a skunk running up and down my road. i think it lives in the bushes at the end of my road and when the plow came by it covered his main entry. meanwhile, there's this crazy old man that lives at the top of my road. he'll just sit in his van some days with a cigar and make pretend hes driving. anyhow, he was also clearing out a path when he noticed the skunk. so he went up to it and started hitting it with shovel. the skunk kept spraying and spraying but the old man didnt really care i guess. after about 2-3 mins of hitting the animal, he guy went inside thinking he killed it. 5 mins later he comes back out to check on it but by then it was already running around again. it ran back down to the end of the road and turned back again to where the old man was. when the skunk got to him, the old man was waiting with his shovel in hand. he then, for a second time, started to beat up the skunk and again, the skunk sprayed the crap outta him with its lovely scent. im not really sure what happened to the skunk cause it just ran off and hid, but im sure the old man took a nice tomato bath. let me tell you, while all of this was happening, i was laughing my ass off. it was just too funny to witness this old guy beat up a skunk. even a day later, im still laughing about it.
